Beautiful but Predictable

Valentino Born in Roma Intense is a powerful, elegant fragrance with a genuinely delicious opening — bold, sophisticated, and full of presence. But here’s my honest take: the dry-down feels predictable. It settles into that classic “designer perfume” territory — pleasant, polished, but safe. That doesn’t make it a bad perfume by any means; if you love clean, refined designer scents, this will absolutely deliver. Personally though? I gravitate toward fragrances that are more disruptive, unexpected, a little unpredictable. Born in Roma Intense is beautiful, but it doesn’t surprise me.
