Slight burning sensation after application

Although I've never been sensitive to hyaluronic acid, I've found that this moisturizer burns slightly after application. It could be that I'm using too much product, as when I use minuscule amounts, I don't get the same reaction, but my skin doesn't end up feeling moisturized either. I've also applied to my eyelids and woke up the next day with really swollen and dry eyelids, so I would avoid the eye area altogether. Based on other reviews, I think I've finally figured out why this product has never worked for me, despite it being recommended for combo skin. The hyaluronic acid/sodium hyaluronate combination isn't recommended for those with rosacea or a damaged skin barrier. I do think I exhibit symptoms of very, very mild rosacea, as well as a damaged skin barrier, which could explain why this product doesn't work for me. I do love TO, though, as you get amazing value for your money, so don't let this deter you from their other products!
