Pen Discoloration

Love the idea of a dual ended pencil and pen so I only need to have this one item in my kit. However, the pen tends to show up really red to where it’s almost auburn. The pencil is much darker/ matches the color description. the pencil is almost unusable because it’s just to warm toned.
