Non functional gummy pilling disaster!

I was excited to try this product as my preferred brand of high SPF light coverage foundation is out of stock. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. Although in the first few moments of application it appears to glide on smoothly, it quickly forms a gummy paste which pulls up on skin in a very noticeable way, gets in my hair (somehow?!) and leaves a nasty residue on hands. The clean-up process adds time to my morning routine which I do not have, and is so unpleasant that I would actually rather go without foundation and just use a plain sunscreen. On top of that, the colour (which I matched using the online tool) is ok but a bit yellow and not really a close enough match to justify the cost of the product. Honestly I have never left a review for foundation in my life as I find the more expensive products (like this one), even if they aren't perfect, are generally good enough for me to use until they are finished. With this one though, I genuinely feel as though I have wasted my money, as it just is not usable.

Waste of money for me

As a long term user of Clinique foundations, I was excited to give this one a try, especially based on many good reviews. It may be good on certain people but certainly not on me.It was colour matched to my existing Even Better foundation but it was slightly too dark a shade to begin with. I haven't got particularly dry skin but it did not blend well and ended up highlighting dry patches. I had to literally just wash it off again and apply my old foundation which does not give that problem. I tried reaching out on chat with advisors but no success, very disappointing.
