Very disappointing product

I am really disappointed with this product; I thought I was buying the Smooth Infusion straightener and heat protectant that was in a green-blue coloured tube. I was very surprised to see the gel like product had been turned into a white, sticky cream that simply does NOT do what the old product did. I absolutely LOVED the old product, and can't understand WHY Aveda would kill such a great product that delivered 200% with every use. I am gutted; it was my favourite go-to Aveda product. This new version (?) is way off the mark. I wish I had thought of returning it before the 30 days were up. PLEASE bring back the old/former product.

Hmmm I see why it was reduced

This isn't very nice. The scent and lingering sticky texture (sticky not moisturising or shiny) just isn't as good as the moisturising or strengthening versions from Aveda. I'm glad I bought it at a hugely discounted price, otherwise I'd have returned it because it just isn't at the standard of other similar Aveda products and I think they know the issues and that's why it was reduced so much. (I have dry curls and this does nothing more to aid smoothing than any other product at all)
