Powerful,strong and feminine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let’s break it down Firstly the packaging is simple elegant and effective. The simplicity allows for throwrfune to speak for itself. I really like the papyrus design of the box and the little podium the perfume stands in. The magnetic lid is such a practical and unique design and ensures that there are no mishaps or spillages. Now the atomiser spray is a little too powerful for my liking, I feel it’s quite forceful and lots of product came out, to me this gives a cheaper feel to the orient regardless of how expensive or amazing it smells. The bulky press and overload of spray was not fantastic however could argue I had plenty of the scent on my skin . I like that the spray didn’t stain my skin, although I am not one to spray on my clothes so cannot judge whether this would be the same for clothing items. The initial scent is heavy and definitely very woody, think fireside winter nights log cabin. The scent was captivating with subtle undertones of the cashmere. Think beige fuzzy sweater and mittens. Personally the scent was very French in vibe giving strong, powerful and independent with subtle notes of femme and girly. To me, this scent would be best of an older woman or headstrong lady going out or for a business meeting as apposed to everyday casual wear. The scent speaks for itself without a doubt! After a few hours the strong eoody scent faded slightly leaving a beautiful mix of wood and cashmere for a softer approach whilst still being powerful and present. I was complimented in the scent all throughout the day . Personally for me, this is not quite the scent I was expecting when ready woody and Chashmefe a si was thinking something a little more light and toasty, but don’t get me wrong it is lovely! I eoukd put this in the same category as something like Amarige or Opium( original).

Luxurious smell, but doesn’t last long

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has a lovely scent which is not too masculine or feminine, so perfect for anyone. It smells soft, clean and really nice. The packaging is luxurious and clean looking, and the bottle looks nice too. I do like the magnetic lid. I also love the way it sprays, very fine mist like which makes it satisfying. The only thing that lets it down is how long the smell actually lasts. It smells lovely when first on, but after a few hours I can barely smell it, so wish it had a little more staying power. Apart from that, a lovely fragrance that I would wear again.
