At first it, this smelled delightful, with a happy flowery-fruity richness of summer in Italy. Then, the smell devolved into that sickening note of sweetness that is common to many perfumes nowadays, a note that I find akin to the nauseatingly sweet smell of fruit that has gone off or, in general, decaying plant matter on a hot day.
