Some pretty shades with good pigment, but they are impossible to open. I broke a nail trying and even with a tool jammed in to the catch it's hard to pop them open. The packaging is just a total miss. No idea how it got approved.

NOT Broken, and EASY Open

I'm sorry others have had bad experiences, but I purchased 3 of these with my fingers crossed after reading reviews, and I LOVE them! Ordering 3 more today with sale! None were broken or damaged in the slightest. The matte colors are color-dense and gorgeous and super long lasting. TO OPEN: Simply hold the little sucker around the bottom securely with the fingers of one hand, and with your other hand - hold the top/clear lid between your thumb and pointer finger. With your thumb in the front center where the opening tab is, and your pointer finger in the back center where hinge is, push the clear lid firmly with your thumb back toward the hinge toward your pointer finger (NOT up, but straight into itself) and then it lifts straight up. You have to be pushing back before you lift up. Easy peasy. :)
