Love hate: Amber Rose

I bought Amber Rose because of the gorgeous color and I thought it would look great against my neutral/cool olive skintone. It does, but it just doesn’t show up like how it looks in the tube and I have light skin. I doubt this would even show up on darker skintones unless you glob it on :/ The formula is also too slippery/oily for my liking so I only need a sheer layer and even then I have to wipe some off because I hate the feel of it. But when I only need a light swipe of it, the color just isn’t there. It’s so sheer like a very faint lip tint. So kind of pointless. I realized the girls on instagram are heavily applying this gloss for the pigment to show up. It also smells and tastes like bad bitter perfume. The smell doesn’t go away either, I just end up taking it off because it feels gross. It would be perfect if they changed the scent to a sweet vanilla or just removed the scent. A thicker, less oily, more pigmented formula would be awesome and then I think it would be an amazing gloss. Sadly returning even though I love the beautiful unique color. Please change the formula and get rid of this scent Ri so I can repurchase in the future! Cuz I love the color.
