The Fall Lip Color I've Been Looking For!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been trying the ILIA Overglaze Hydrating Lip Gloss in Figure, and the color is really what sold me. It’s such a beautiful deep, plummy shade with that rich berry undertone I’m always drawn to for fall. It gives you a noticeable pop of color without feeling too heavy or overdone, and it instantly makes a simple fall makeup look feel a little more polished.I’ve also been impressed with how nicely the color wears and how long it stays on for a gloss. My one note is the hydration. For something called a “hydrating” lip gloss, I personally expected it to feel a little more moisturizing. I’ve used other glosses that leave my lips feeling softer and more conditioned, so this wouldn’t be my first pick if hydration were my main priority.That said, I really do like it — especially in Fig. The color, shine and wear make it such a pretty addition to my fall makeup bag, and I can already see myself reaching for this shade a lot this season.
