Beware some colour issues

I bought velvet teddy first and absolutely loved it, blends well lovely colour. Then i got hodgepodge. I dont know if some of these are 'off' as it didnt blend at all. You'd put it on and it wouldnt blend. I ended up getting a replacement hodgepodge and that one is ok but i have seen online. Some of these do just not blend. I will stick with the 2 i have i probably wont buy more. I dont want a unblendable one again.
