Smells horrible

I really wanted to love this lotion, especially because it’s on the pricier side. But the smell is just not great. I can’t tell what it is. Does it smell like Play-Doh? Is it plastic smelling? It just doesn’t smell natural. It almost has this old kind of spoilt smell and all I could smell was that once I put it on my skin. Another thing it does not absorb well on your skin. It almost feels like a layer on top of your existing skin and if you try to add in more lotion, it pills very badly. I do not recommend this at all.
