Controls frizz but my hair felt awful

I've got thick but fine, shiny hair that's predominately silver in the front and often has a bit of a frizzy halo around the crown. Normally, the silver catches the light and has a lot of life to it. Dream Coat got rid of the frizz but absolutely dulled my hair in the process. It felt coated and unnatural on Day 1 - kind of straw-like. If you are rocking silver hair, you know how important it is for it to catch the light. I decided that a bit of frizzy hair that sparkles looks better than controlled hair that doesn't. This did last through 3 shampoos as advertised even with double-cleansing, and with each wash my hair felt closer to normal. I did not come close to saturating my hair with the product.
