Starts off nicely but fades away far too quickly

This review is based on my use of the sample included in the Phlur Discovery Kit. I wore the perfume on 4 separate occasions, 2 days in warm weather and 2 with cooler temperatures, with a spritz on the wrist and inner crook of the elbows each time. KEY NOTES (per the brand): * Top: Mandarin Splash, Pink Pepper, Golden Pear * Heart: Orange Flower Water, Jasmine Blossom, Coconut Milk * Base: Benzoin, Sandalwood, Vanilla Cream WHAT I SMELL: * Spritzed on a perfume blotter, I was intrigued by the fruity floral, tropical opening. I picked up the pear, mandarin splash & coconut milk listed in the key notes. I was hoping to smell the same on myself. Sadly, that was not the case. * The opening is a mix of notes that I wouldn't ordinarily think of combining - a blend of powdery, tropical, citrus and floral notes at the very start with a little fruit and peppery notes nestled in between. The notes seem to bounce between sharp (citrus & pepper), soft (powder & florals) & sweet (tropical & fruity) and, as unique as the combinations sound, they work somehow. I didn't pick up any of the creamy, woody or milky notes listed.   * What scents I did detect faded away entirely & pretty quickly, too (less than half an hour), and then, I didn't smell anything. Not even when I brought my nose to the crook of my elbows or my wrists, the points where I spritzed the perfume. FYI: * The intensity of this fragrance varies depending on the weather, with the notes being more pronounced & distinctive in cooler temps. In both cool & warm weather though the perfume fades quickly & early.  * The full & travel sizes are packaged in a shiny, gold bottle, deviating from the standard clear glass bottle of most Phlur fragrances.  BUY, BUY, BUY 🛍️ or BYE-BYE 👋🏼?: * Sadly, this fragrance didn't mesh well with my body chemistry, which is too bad because the notes at the very beginning smelled lovely. They just disappeared far too quickly, so it's a pass for me. BYE 👋🏼

A beautiful warm floral

Honestly, this is such a beautiful perfume, it’s definitely a warm floral, which is what I always gravitate towards.
