Just a PSA
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was introduced to double cleansing when I was 32, using this Bobbi Brown Cleansing Oil, and I can confidently say that it has changed my skin more than any other product I've added. I'm 43 now and I've tried sooooo many others. It's still the best. It has the perfect amount of slip, it's a pleasure to use and worth every cent. Using a foaming cleanser alone (even if you use micellar water, beforehand) traps makeup, sweat and grime behind: because oil and water don't mix! I've recommended this to so many friends and family. It doesn't strip your skin, which is great for mature or dry skin, but also ideal for acne prone skin, because oil attracts oil….so it gets everything off. Then you just follow with a foaming lathering cleanser and wash ALL OF THAT away. If you get acne, it's so important not to strip your skin because your skin will overcompensate and you'll end up with this dry/acne situation. . I don't scrimp on oil cleanser, because that's the important part. It removes what a gel cleanser physically cannot. Budget permitting, I'll follow with the BB lathering tube soap. But…I'll use a cheaper lathering/foaming cleanser before compromising on the oil cleanser. I actually look forward to washing my face.

Became frozen and crystallised?
Would not recommend, I've had this product for less than 2 weeks and I keep it in my bathroom like most people do with their skincare. I woke up 12/01/2026 (uk based) at 5am to get ready for a lecture, get myself washed and do my skincare and I woke up to find my oil had became a block???? It was white, blocky, chunky and no longer a liquid!!! It looked like crushed ice, couldn't seem to get through to a complaints team either as I'm not even sure if this is safe to put on my face anymore and considering the price you're paying for something like this you would expect it to stay a liquid after a week, but apparently not. Don't waste your money.
