It itches!! Do your googling first!

I have mild to moderate rosacea with flushing and raised bumps. I decided to give this a go and put it on after washing my face. My skin had no real reaction except it felt like it needed moisturizer immediately. I slapped some on and immediately my face felt itchy. I had no idea this was a thing with azelaic acid!!! Please be aware you are going to itch!! It lasted about ten minutes and was NOT accompanied with redness or burning. I had no idea what I was going to wake up to but I was PLEASANTLY surprised. The usual hot feeling on my face? Gone. Redness? Cut by half. Little bumps? Majorly reduced. And best of all... my makeup went on flawlessly. The flushing usually oxidizes my foundation. I wasn't orange guys!!! I could cry. I have high hopes for long term use but I'm definitely going to use it once every 3 days until I can use it every night with no itching. Compared to other reactions I'm used to with other products I've tried, the itching was nothing.

Not ok for my POD

I have perioral dermatitis and this made the dryness and flakeyness so bad despite being allegedly one of the best solutions. You have to apply it to completely dry skin, wait for it to absorb completely, then apply other lotions/liquids on top or else the burning sensation is sooooo painful. Not worth it for me.
