causes so much hair shedding

I really wanted to love this. My scalp didn't get irritated, it got my hair clean but at times was hard to get the lather going and could take a bit to rinse but my hair seemed to like it. BUT here are my cons, the minor one being I am not overly a fan of the fragrance it's just not my thing but I dont hate it. The absolute biggest con and reason I will not use this again- the hair shedding is terrible. Yes I got some thyroid/hormonal stuff going on and expect a little hair fall every shower but this was unreal. My hair shedding in the shower every time I washed with this was insane. I even switched to a different shampoo conditioner just to make sure and sure enough when I washed the shedding was cut down to a 1/4th of what this shampoo was doing. I have read some of their other lines can do this well it looks like this does it to me.

Strong Fragrance Causes Eye Irritation

I normally don’t have problems with hair products, but the Amika Normcore Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner caused significant irritation to my eyes. Even with careful application, my eyes watered and burned after I used it. For comparison, I use other Amika products (like Bust Your Brass), Purology and Briogeo shampoos without any irritation, so I believe the issue is the heavy fragrance in Normcore. While the duo is moisturizing, I cannot recommend it for anyone sensitive to scents or with sensitive eyes.
