Got this as a gift for a friend who is just starting out in makeup, and she loved the cute packaging as well as the shades that really complement her fair complexion. Great price for the pallet, good as gifts to young adults or those very new to makeup and want something they can experiment and play around with. Pallet is made in Italy and if quality is as good as their Colorful eyeshadow singles of which I own three shades, then it would not cause any irritation or infection to the eye, while giving subtle but buildable colors that are very pretty.
