So, I've bought this product twice when they were carrying their pear flavor and loved it. After it was discontinued, I didn't have much interest in the other flavors/scents so moved on looking for another product. Recently, after running out of my replacement product I decided to revisit this classic. I was torn between the vanilla and the matcha bubble tea, decided the vanilla might be a little boring, and opted for the matcha. I should have definitely read the reviews for this specific flavor/scent, because they're right. It neither tastes nor smells anything like matcha. The formula is still as good as I remember, but this was a swing and a miss for me. The flavor is actually not bad, it's lightly floral. But the smell? I can tell they were trying to capture the earthy smell of matcha but...it's a flop. The closest thing I can compare it to is the smell of bad morning breath. It's bizarre, if it smelled the way it tastes Id be fine with it, but the smell and flavor experiences are different and I'd prefer my partner not think I need to brush my teeth after applying it. Will be returning, hopefully they try to improve the scent because I do think it's a really unique idea.

Wouldn't re buy, but I DO NOT regret purchasing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Use this as my before-sleep lip product. I think it does what it promises, hydration-wise, and I really love the texture on my lips. I feel like it fills in all the cracks that I have and is really repairing. I struggle with biting the skin near my lips as a nervous tic, so it's been helping with that, but the smell is a bit much ngl. The only issue is the intensity of the scent.
