[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the shade Mauvment, and overall I have mixed feelings. On the plus side, the pigmentation is impressive, it delivers rich color right away but is also buildable if you want a more intense look. The scent is fairly neutral, which I appreciate, and it’s not sticky at all, making it comfortable to wear. I generally enjoy products from MAC as a long time user, so I had high hopes. However, this didn’t quite meet my expectations in terms of hydration. I have VERY dry chapped lips, and unfortunately, this didn’t make them feel nourished or soft. Instead, it felt like the product was just sitting on top of my lips rather than really moisturizing them. If you’re looking primarily for color and shine, it’s a solid option, but if deep hydration is important, this might fall a bit short for you.
