I read serum and thought it would be thick and oily. It is thin, almost like water. I felt I had to use a lot of product to complete the instructions. However, I'm excited to see if this will help strengthen my hair! A + for not being greasy at all. I didn't notice a heavy scent at all, which is good for those that may be sensitive.
