Perfect for Light Blondes!

I have light blonde hair, and Soft Blonde is the best brow pencil shade I’ve found—natural, not too warm or ashy. The fine tip gives me precise, hair-like strokes, and it lasts all day without smudging. Easy to use, flattering, and reliable—my new favorite brow product!

Decent but not the best, too creamy/waxy

First off this shade was not it for me. I have bleached blonde hair but my roots are grown out so it’s like an ombré now, and my roots are like a light chestnut auburn, level 6ish. I probably should’ve gone for the rich taupe. Aside from that, I found the formula to be too creamy and waxy. This was especially a problem for me as this shade was so light (and tbh quite warm even for me a natural redhead, not TOO warm but almost, and def not ideal) so I had to apply quite a bit to get it to actually really show up, and it was super easy to just end up with a cakey creamy waxy mess. The texture is very similar to those creamy smudgy glide-y eyeliners. That also, as you might expect, results in it being super easy to smudge and as another reviewer mentioned, applying any type of brow product on top (ie gel) can be tricky. I have to put a tinted brow gel on top (I use CT’s in soft brown) to get the color right (I do this anyway regardless for the feathered texture but with this brow pencil I HAVE to do it just to get the shade to look right, whereas with a better shade I could skip it if I wanted to) and with practice I’ve gotten good at it but it’s still a bit messy and I have to clean up with a q tip usually. With clear brow gel forget it. Just an absolute mess. Same with setting sprays-this does not play well with setting sprays. The packaging is cute, I personally did not have any issues with it breaking which I do with most brow pencils so I’ll give it that. I also like the price. But all in all this is just not my favorite, and I do not think I will repurchase it in rich taupe, I will try another brand instead. In a pinch though, I would gladly use this. It is still better than most drugstore products.
