Hoped this to be the right move up from classic collection

I so wished this to be an amazing product! My skin has never been and is not sensitive, and I know how to apply eye cream. And I have been using the classic La Mer collection without any issues. Whatever has gone into this one, causes redness of my eyes, as well as swelling of the skin / heavy lid sensation (no, none of it goes onto the lid). I have posted a separate review for the night cream, and wish I took other 1 star reviews seriously! "It won't happen to me", "my skin never reacts" was not the case on this occasion. There's something about the Genaissance series that goes against my healthy skin and body.
