Good product horrible smell

I really wanted to like this product. I do like the product itself, however, the smell is just so strong and bad, it takes a lot of time for it to fade away.

used this as a primer and it made my makeup peel so bad and it's just littered with glitter like it was all over my hands. i was trying to be optimistic and did some research on how to apply this without it peeling and for the price i paid for this thing it makes no sense on why i can't do my regular skin prep, wait for it to absorb into my skin, and tap it in lightly so it won't peel. it's just ridiculous on how careful I have to be with a 40 dollar product. plus it smells so weird like cheap costume makeup. i couldn't even blend with a brush how i want to without it peeling. it's weird how this primer made my makeup base so textured while having clear skin mostly untextured skin. i got so upset i didn't take pictures for proof just don't buy this if you're not willing to go the extra EXTRA mile for it.
