USED to love this product, until the reformulation

this WAS my favorite skincare step for years and the product that got me into the brand to begin with. it left my skin velvety smooth, moisturized and absorbed so beautifully. my most recent restock, i will be returning and looking for a replacement… this new formula doesn’t absorb into my skin whatsoever, leaving the rest of my skincare that i layer on top look and feel greasy and oily. i wanted to give it a fair chance so i’ve tried it for about two weeks and where this product used to be the key to preventing dryness and flakiness on some areas of my face, it is no longer performing the way the original formula did. i’m extremely disappointed this is still being advertised as if no change has happened, when the packaging and formula are completely different. this reminds me of an oil from The Ordinary with how it never absorbs, i actually think i’d reach for their oil than this reformulated dream oil. what a shame that the product that got me into the brand is now what is deterring me from it altogether.

Deceptive

I buy this product consistently and have always loved it, however it is concerning to buy the same product one day and have the formula, name, product design, and smell, completely change while the brand is still marketing it as the same product. This is deceptive and concerning. My skin is very sensitive and while I know the original product worked for my skin, I do not trust this new formula and will unfortunately have to stop purchasing it until this brand transparently addresses these changes.
