Best setting powder, hands down.

This is a great setting powder that I highly recommend applying with a triangular powder puff rather than a fluffy brush—the lid is designed perfectly for that. The formula has a mild, sweet scent that isn't overpowering at all, and it excels at both blurring and setting without feeling heavy or cakey. For me, this is a major upgrade from the Laura Mercier translucent setting powder in both packaging and performance. While the Laura Mercier powder sets makeup, it can feel flat and drying on the skin, almost like wearing a layer of baby powder. In contrast, the Huda Beauty formula feels significantly lighter, more refined, and instantly smooths the skin rather than just mattifying it.

new go-to powder as a beginner

this powder goes beautifully on the skin. it’s lightweight, and it doesn’t accentuate my texture, but rather smooths it out and make everything look soft, and not cakey. i was scared at first about purple setting powder but if your around my skin tone, a medium neutral-red undertones, this will match. but don’t get me wrong, it looks amazing on every different skin tone. i am getting into makeup and it makes it so much easier.
