This is a very true 3 star product….they almost have it but need to try again. I have been using this since I got it during the sale in April so it’s been a while. I have been highlighting my hair for 18 years now and have tried a number of purple shampoos. My favorite to give me my cool tone blonde (I have cool tone skin/blue eyes so warmer tones of blonde look terrible on me) is the Shu Eumura. It is very expensive so I decided to try this slightly more affordable option. It does a superb job of removing any brassiness and really leaves my hair a gorgeous cool blonde. I just hate the experience. I have to pump a very large amount to cover all my hair (and I have fine, medium/longish hair) and it doesn’t really lather that much so my hair just feels kind of heavy and dirty afterward. Because of the foam, it leaks into the cap and when I take it off it flings purple onto my nice white curtain. It does feel slightly dry but I find that all purple shampoos make my hair dry to a degree. Hoping they turn this into an actual shampoo or somehow create more lather to cleanse the hair because it does have great color payoff.

Not for natural grey hair

Not the best for natural gray/white hair. Definitely leaves a purple tint. Resolved this by mixing with a non purple shampoo, and rinsing quickly. I do notice some improvement from brassiness. I like the foam. A little drying, I won’t buy again but it is a good product just better for people with color treated hair it would seem.
