Unusable

I purchased this in a past version of the pencil. Mine has an unusable "sharpener" attached. I have no clue how the "sharpener" is to be used. Additionally, the pencil is not wood, but some other hard material that destroys the actual liner when I try to sharpen it with a regular makeup sharpener.

Free flowing, good saturation, long wearing

TL;DR = Free flowing, good saturation of color upon application. Saturation is always a bit of gamble with me. Some blacks don't show as black against my skin. No idea why but it can go grey or navy if I don't apply multiple times or use another dark shade first, or they don't last a full day as if my skin simply absorbed them. And yes, that's with a primer, setting agents, etc etc. I think there's a bit of a learning curve for me with this particular liquid liner. I was able to eventually get a very thin line upon application but it took a lot of effort. I've got a lot of practice with liquid eyeliner and this style of pen. Other brands have allowed me more finite control more quickly. Unfortunately, they tend to eventually change the formula or discontinue my favorites after awhile. I've had a lot of good luck with Makeup Forevers staying power and water resistance so when I saw this I knew I had to give it a try since my last liquid liner finally gave up the ghost.
