First thing I use on soaking wet hair right out of the shower. Acts as a leave in and curl activator for me. If it’s drying ur hair try in really wet hair. Mine is dry and this helps a lot. Like someone else said follow the exact instructions

Very drying, probably good for fine slightly curly wavy hair. Not good for 3b hair
