Very pretty 90’s brown lip

I got the shade Leo, and it is a super pretty buildable brown lip color. I have fair skin and the lip color looks good, I do layer a pink tinted balm over it to give some moisture. The generation g formula is a sheer matte texture and it stays well- I don’t notice a ton of transfer when eating or drinking. I do have to reapply midday, but overall I was impressed considering the sheer coverage. I like the product a lot, only dinging one star because the smell is just… bad. Not noticeable once on, but when I open the package I always notice the weird smell.

I should’ve listened to the bad reviews!

I’m very disappointed in this new version and I wish I’d listened to the reviews. I figured the lipstick couldn’t be that bad, but it really is. The color is not as deep as it used to be, and it takes A LOT more product to get anything to show on my lips. It’s too expensive for the quality of product Glossier is selling. The smell is also very off putting and similar to wax crayons, and the texture is very dry and not smooth like the old version.
