Hydrating Mask - So Far, So Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I've never used this Kerastase Masque Reconstituant Hair Mask before but have used other products from this brand in the past. I used this directly after shampooing with their shampoo and I like the viscosity of the mask. It is thick which tends to penetrate my hair more easily. My hair is very coily and gets extremely dry. Using this mask allowed me to add moisture back to my follicles, however, it does not have as much slip as I'd like. I worked it through my curls and finger-detangled before using a wide-tooth comb to further detangle my hair. I usually do this process and the mask softened my hair but it still required effort to detangle fully. I ended up having it on my hair for longer than the recommended five minutes. It rinses away easily and my hair looked and felt soft and hydrated. I finished with my usual styling products before putting it in two-strand twists to air dry. Overall, it is a good mask that works relatively quickly. It has a very perfumed scent (flowery) so people with allergies or sensitivities may not like it. I didn't mind and it seemed to dissipate over time. It's a little on the pricey side but on par with many masks.
