Unsure

Unsure about this. It does what it says in providing moisture and hold. I like that my curls don't look crunchy. But the whip is very heavy and sticky. I have pretty thin hair so it can make it look greasy and weighed down. I try not to wash my hair everyday, but if I use this, I have to. It feels very heavy on my fine hair, even when I used only small amounts.

A Good Product for a Minimal Routine

Let me start off by saying that I have a mix of 2C/3A/3B red hair. My hair is very fine, but I have A LOT of it, which means I need something with hold, but isn't heavy. I usually use a cream, a mousse, and a finishing oil in my routine but since having a baby I don't have the luxury of time any more. When I first bought this and tried it, I used the normal amount of mousse I am used to using, and was unimpressed--it felt heavy and oily, and didn't let my curls fluff like I want them to. HOWEVER. When I tried it the second time, I was a lot more frugal with the amount of product I used. I usually can't air dry, but this day I didn't have a choice, and WOW did my curls look good! They were defined, shiny, and soft. I had some frizz but not a lot, and quite personally frizz doesn't bother me. I expect to have frizz if I want volume. My hair doesn't ever look this good with the three products I usually use, and the convenience of being able to use one product is too good to pass up. This product is expensive, I am aware, but it is roughly the same price for this one product as it is for my normal curly routine. I think that this is worth it if this is the only product you can get away with using in your routine, and with how little I have to use I can see this lasting me a while.
