I was excited to try this product in a different color than the Fuchsia Wife. Mai Type is thin and runny and definitely does not stay on for very long. Also, like Fuchsia Wife, it leaks a lot. So disappointed. For the price we pay as faithful clients of Sephora, I expect quality from a product with this price and a promise it will last!

Formula change led to allergic reaction

Used to be my favourite lip stain until they changed the formula. I’ve repurchased the berry shade 3 times (I also have strawberry and mai type). The product that used to last me a good 4-6 months of near daily use has now gone off after only 2 months. It started to smell disgusting, but being so expensive I tried to push through and continue to use it. This was a mistake as it gave me an allergic reaction causing my lips to chap and swell. I’ve never had this before, I don’t have l sensitive skin at all. There is still plenty of product left, which is very frustrating as it’s not cheep and I save up for it. They need to either change the formula back, or start using some proper preservatives.
