I have tried both this and the clear. I don't think this smells like bubblegum, but smells vaguely of strawberry. I also think this one works better than the clear; the clear did nothing for my lips. This helps. It's supposed to be the same formula, so maybe I just got an old/bad clear one. I think it's very similar to the Laneige lip masks; specifically the Berry. I rotate lip products so my skin doesn't get too used to anything.
