Smells and tastes a bit chemical?

I got a free Strawberry Shortcake balm with an order of mine and this just wasn't for me. It bothers my lips and makes them peel and crack. While I LOVE the color and the "coverage," the smell, taste and irritation just aren't worth it to me.
