Somewhat disappointing for pale girlies

I am definitely on the paler side as a somebody with blonde-red hair. I also have blueish purple more hollow under eyes and was looking for something to brighten them after concealer and make the hollow a bit less noticeable. Although it doesn’t cake, after about an hour it gets a lot darker than when applied and honestly just makes skin look worse than before application. I kind of regret buying

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Laura Mercier translucent powder a ton in high school but then got distracted by all the new loose setting powders out there. I was reintroduced to these with the Rose powder, and now I can't believe I ever strayed. It is so lightweight and doesn't make your face look cakey. It literally just blurs so perfectly, like 'your skin but better'. I'm a medical student with oily/combination skin, and I get cystic acne from stress. This powder sets my concealer perfectly so I don't have to worry about things moving around throughout the day and feel confident that my breakouts stay covered. Honestly, sometimes I have my makeup on for 12+ hours, and this powder has lasted that duration of time; it only needs maybe 1 touch up, but I can get away with just leaving it alone. I'm really surprised by the longevity of this powder, and although I was gifted this product, would definitely buy again!!! (Also, just a side note -- I have light/medium skin with neutral undertones. I like to use pink powder under my eyes but have been using this on my entire face and you can't even tell that it's pink. It's a very nice, neutral pink tone that isn't too intimidating to use!)
