Terrible new formula

I’ve purchased this foundation for years, this new formula is awful. No longer matte and long wearing, especially for us who lean on the oily side. It was tacky on my face all day and the colour is off. Had to return.

Nope to the new formulation

I’ve been a loyal Estée Lauder double wear foundation for the past 11 years. It had never failed me through humidity, heat, special occasions etc. The new reformation is just terrible. I understand that the US/EU change the regulations to protect its us. So with that, certain ingredient was removed that triggered the changing formulation. Totally fine by me! However, this new reformation is definitely a nope! It does not perform the same. The coverage is not the same. The old formula was a full coverage with light non-sticky feel. This new formula is medium coverage and I had to reapplied at least three times to get close to anything. It does not dry down the same. The colour shade is not even the same. It is sticky and tacky to the touch. It does not set. It wears off. All the influencers online who were paid to promote this new reformulation - honestly don’t listen to them. When you actually try the new formation, you will definitely figure it out very quickly. That is definitely not the same and not better at all. Disney reformulation was for some reason, market it to the current generation, who, for some reason once skincare in their makeup. The loyal fan base of double wear are actually people who want something that is tried and true and does not fail. We actually don’t want make up in our skin care. The left bottle is the new reformation and the right is the old formulation. The colour is not even the same. I unfortunately have to look for alternatives brand :(
