Fragrance of Warm Tones and Sophistication

The Alchemist's Garden Muschio Mineralis Eau de Parfum is a wonderful, elegant fragrance. It has a dominating amber and musk scent. Those two notes alone dominate nicely together, alone. The hints a vanilla adds a nice sweetness to this fragrance as well. This fragrance produces a war, comforting feel. It's a fragrance that stands out with intensity but is not overwhelming. Its duration lasts for hours, and the projection reaches pretty far. It's perfect for any occasion, but I'd recommend using this for a special event. I definitely recommend this fragrance for those who love having a memorable, luxurious perfume with warm tones!

Unique plasticky musk/vanilla

Muschio Mineralis is mainly a musk/vanilla scent. It's a pretty unique effect that I haven't seen before, with the spices in the top notes attempting to make the white musk feel more realistic and animalic. The cumin in particular trying to give the very tame musk more of an edge. The smoky pepper/frankincense combo is there, but doesn't take over like for example in YSL Babycat thankfully. The other main aspect of this fragrance is the otherworldly sort of synthetic "mineral" effect, mainly I think provided by the named aromachemicals, vayanol and orcanox. Vayanol is a new captive which is a clove-like smoky floral note, while orcanox is a specialized version of ambroxan that is softer and warmer than its cousin. Together these give Muschio Mineralis a synthetic plasticky laboratory like feel, and make it into an absolute powerhouse. It's definitely an interesting fragrance, probably won't make it into my collection but might be someone's favorite of the line due to its uniqueness. Projection gets soft after a few hours but longevity is off the charts.
