Made my face look orange

I have light skin and this did nothing but turn my skin orange. I was not wearing any makeup at all and my husband said I looked tan. I wiped my face with a makeup cloth and you can see the orange/pink streaks from this lotion in the photo.

Smells like fake tan

It’s a nice product which is smooth when applied but not as strong as my previous vitamin c I’ve used. It also has a fake tan smell which won’t go away and it soaks into the fingers/face
