volumizing but drying

on the first day after i've washed it my hair looks perfect - so soft, voluminous and fluffy, it even brings out curls in my hair that i didn't know i had. however on the second day my hair is very dry, it still has some volume but it's no longer soft or fluffy. i want to love this product so badly but it's just a shame that it dries out my hair.
