Classy woody amber perfume

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Baccarat Rouge 540 Scented Soap is a great addition to any bathroom. This soap gently cleanses my skin. It is a condensed version of the perfume itself. I love the signature smell of Baccarat Rouge 540, the amber and woody finish gives a very expensive feeling. Perfect to have a shower before going on a date and pair with the signature perfume.

Burnt sugar and Pine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Baccarat Rouge 540 is one of those scents that people notice right away. On me it smells like burned sugar, but it’s not overly sweet though. There is something fresh and woody in it too, almost like pine, which keeps it from feeling heavy or sticky. It reminds me a lot of the smell of Katsura tree in the fall, soft, warm, slightly sweet scent you catch in the air when leaves are turning. It feels cozy and comforting, but still light enough to wear anytime. The only downside is that this scent has been copied a lot, and I notice similar versions everywhere. But most of them feel flat compared to the original, as it has more depth and stays interesting as you wear it. For me it is one of those signature, almost legendary scents that I will always come back to.
