Soft plum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Gucci really did it again. First, the packaging is stunning. Gucci has some of my favorite luxury packaging and this blush looks and feels expensive. The compact is weighty, super soft to the touch, and just gorgeous on a vanity or in a bag. The blush itself is technically a powder, but it applies with a creamy, skin melting feel. It blends effortlessly and looks like it sinks into the skin instead of sitting on top. The finish isn’t glittery or sparkly and I wouldn’t even call it “shimmery” it’s more of a true glow, like juicy, plump, healthy skin. I have light medium skin and I picked a soft plum shade that looked intimidating in the pan, but it’s actually perfect. It gives that “cheeks but better” flush, like you’ve been out in the sun for a bit in summer or you have that naturally rosy, cold weather flush in winter. Not too dark, not too purple, just really flattering. I can’t fully speak to all day wear yet, but based on how it blends in and stains the skin a bit, I expect it to last well. 10/10 recommend and I already want more shades. Also makes an amazing gift because it feels special.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m in love with this Gucci blush. The packaging is heavy, beautiful, and sturdy. I’m not afraid to throw this in my purse thinking that the clasp is going to come undone and get everywhere. The mirror in the compact is nice and convenient for application. I am on the paler side but got the ruby shade because I don’t have anything else like it in my collection. It is very pigmented but I could definitely blend it out so I don’t look like a clown. I used a light fluffy brush which allowed for me to build the pigment without going overboard. I love the slight sheen and feel like it really gives me a healthy glow. This is everything I wanted it to be. It actually feels luxury. It’s now my go to blush!
