Nice Packaging, Ordinary Product

Unfortunately, I don’t think this product justifies the price tag. While the packaging is attractive and unmistakably Dior, the balm itself feels like a fairly standard moisturizer presented in a beautifully branded container. I also find the oval packaging less practical than expected. Getting the product out can be a little messy, which takes away from the luxurious experience I expect at this price point. The product moisturizes, but I haven’t experienced anything exceptional enough to distinguish it from other effective multi-use balms & moisturizers available for a fraction of the price. With luxury beauty, I don’t mind paying more when the formula, performance, packaging and/or overall experience feels special. For me, this simply doesn’t.
