Smooth Finish Without the Cakey Look

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been really liking this powder for setting my makeup and doing quick touch-ups during the day. Ube Birthday Cake is a pretty shade that gives a subtle brightening effect without looking too white on my skin. The powder is very fine and goes on smoothly, and I only need a small amount to take down shine and make my makeup look more put together. What I like most is that it doesn’t make my skin look overly dry or cakey when I use it over foundation. It works especially well around my under-eyes and T-zone, and the pressed formula makes it much easier to carry around than a loose powder. I do prefer applying it lightly since too much can start to look powdery, but overall it gives me the matte, blurred finish I was looking for and has become an easy product to reach for.
