Bad Odor - Unfortunately

I have purchased this product a few times and, unfortunately, at least twice, the eyeliner smelled bad, as though it was old or spoiled. I returned/exchanged the product once. I will just not purchase this again, unless they allow me to open it to check that it doesn't have the bad odor prior to leaving the counter. This was very disappointing because I like the product otherwise.

Didn’t like it ..

I didn’t like the eyeliner. It dried out very quickly and when I try to draw on my eye it is very sheer and watery.
