The best black liner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve tried so many black eyeliners and this one is easily in my top favorites. The Make Up For Ever Aqua Resist Color Pencil Waterproof Eyeliner in Black is seriously long-wearing. It glides on super smooth without tugging, which is huge for me, especially on the waterline. The pigment is rich, deep black in one swipe — no patchiness. What really impressed me is the staying power. Once it sets, it does not budge. I’ve worn it through long workdays, heat, and even watery eyes, and it still looks sharp hours later. It gives you a little time to smudge it out if you want a softer look, but after that it locks in. If you want a true waterproof liner that won’t smear, fade, or transfer — this is worth it. Definitely a staple in my makeup bag. Gifted by Makeup For Ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve tried a lot of eyeliners over the years, and this one from Makeup Forever genuinely stands out. The first thing I noticed was how smooth the application is — it glides on without tugging at the eyelid, which is especially important if you’re doing precise lines or working close to the lash line. The pigmentation is rich in a single swipe, so you don’t have to go back and forth to build intensity. What impressed me most is the longevity. Once it sets, it really stays put. I have combination skin with slightly oily lids, and many liners tend to smudge or transfer after a few hours, but this one held up beautifully throughout the day. I wore it for over 10 hours, including running errands and being outdoors, and it still looked clean and defined by the evening. It’s also fairly resistant to humidity and light sweating, which makes it reliable for long days or events. Another plus is the versatility. You can blend it out shortly after application if you want a softer, smoky look, but once it dries down, it becomes budge-resistant. Removal is easy with a good makeup remover or cleansing balm, so you’re not scrubbing your eyes at the end of the day. The only minor downside is that because it sets quickly, you do need to work a bit fast if you’re planning to smudge it. Overall though, the performance, color payoff, and staying power make this eyeliner absolutely worth it in my opinion.
