Musky
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Valentino! Perfect for that special man in your life for valentines day, good play on words. Overall, I think the scent is musky and woodsy and smells nice. It’s giving typical manly cologne though, there is nothing that stands out so it is a bit lackluster. It also is so strong. So if you’re sensitive to smells I don’t recommend this. I was wafting it towards me and was still overwhelmed by how strong it was. It lasted for 8 hours on my partner and kept its smell pretty intact the whole time. Love the packaging! It’s both easy to hold and it’s sleek looking. I’d say this cologne would work year round, for all the seasons!

Gods tears in a bottle
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Valentino Uomo Born in Roma is one of those fragrances that doesn’t just smell good—it rewires the whole mood of your night the second it hits your skin. From the first spray, it throws out this almost electric mix of mineral freshness and violet leaf that feels like stepping into warm evening air in a city you love, dressed better than everyone else without even trying. There’s a clean, slightly salty brightness up top that instantly grabs attention, but it never feels harsh or synthetic; it’s smooth, modern, and ridiculously easy to like. As it settles, the ginger and sage start to rise, giving this energetic, slightly spicy edge that makes the fragrance feel alive and animated, like your confidence just quietly leveled up. It has that designer sexiness that works on literally any age, but there’s also a subtle character to it, a kind of understated attitude that keeps it from being just another generic mainstream scent. The dry‑down is where it really gets addictive: vetiver and woods warm everything up into this smooth, masculine base that clings to your skin and clothes in the best way. In real life, this is a date‑night and going‑out monster—something you reach for when you want compliments without smelling like you tried too hard. It projects enough to leave a trail when you walk past, lasts long enough to ride through an entire evening, and still feels comfortable and wearable, never overbearing. People talk about it as a compliment magnet, and it absolutely fits that label, but the thing that makes it special is how personal it becomes once it mixes with your skin. On paper, it sounds like a fresh, woody, slightly spicy designer. On you, it might become your signature. And honestly, this is one of those scents you can read about all day—but you won’t really get the hype until you spray it on once and catch that first whiff for yourself.
