Full coverage foundation

Beautiful finish, tricky application

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying that I never owned the OG version. This foundation looks like your skin, but better. To achieve the best result you need to apply a very thin layer and work in sections. You can add a second layer in trouble areas after the first layer sets. It doesn’t creases under eyes, so on my good days I use it instead of a concealer and set it with a light dusting of powder. The finish is natural matte to satin, depending on a primer and skin prep. Coverage is light to medium. Pros of this foundation: lightweight, looks perfect on the skin*, doesn’t separate after the oils start coming through, looks like skin but better; self-sets and doesn’t need a setting powder; minimum transfer. Cons: the runny thin formula needs a pump, it’s messy and hard without it; may need a couple layers in trouble areas; sets fast, so you need to work quickly; may look patchy; oxidizes.
