Not hydrating - dry, chapped lips

I used this for a few days in a row and got the worst dry/cracked lips that I have ever had. I've read several other reviews that say the same thing. It claims to be hydrating but did the opposite to me. I have been coating myself in Aquaphor for days trying to heal the damage. A lot of people complain about the smell. To me it smells exactly like those peach ring gummy candies. It isn't horrible but it is a STRONG smell. Needed to reapply a lot as it doesn't have staying power, but ultimately the chapped lips pushed me over the edge.
