DO NOT BUY!.

I used Amika products for years, and I absolutely loved them, especially, the yellow line. When they announced the new formula, I was actually really excited to try it. I still had some of the old shampoo and conditioner until May, and then I finally switched to the new version. I used it consistently for two months because I wanted to give it a fair chance, but unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. It left a strange film on my hair, and with every wash my hair felt heavier, greasier, and harder to manage. On top of that, I started experiencing noticeable hair shedding. At first, I thought it might be hormonal, so I had a full set of blood tests done, and everything came back normal! I eventually switched to Oribe, and my hair started improving almost immediately. It feels much healthier now, and the excessive shedding has significantly decreased. Everyone’s hair is different, but please avoid this shampoo!

Must for thick wavy hair surrounded by humidity

Omg! Yes this brand never lets you down! Firstly, I want to let you that this product is awesome for hair that is thick and frizzy. It shows my curls but it doesn’t fully stop frizzy... I don’t have dyed hair so this isn’t recommended for dyed hair since I by asked to some people who said it didn’t work for them.
